Some DMR quote where Matt Thomas mentioned that he's talked for Fred since the surgery, and that Fred said he would be back. That's the only one I've seen.

THis was posted already, but some were asking for it. Matt does say that Hoiberg said he would be back and that they are operating under that assumption. BTW, sorry for text tried to change it but it won't let me.
