As an NBA aficionado, I know the difference between a championship contender and an average team. Bulls are an average team. Slow posts, bad team chemistry, average offense. Too many problems. If you're not contending for an NBA championship OR you aren't getting lottery picks, you are in NBA hell. If you can't understand this I can't help you.

Yep. That's the circle of life in the NBA. Even the Lakers have to take a backseat for a couple years to get themselves set up for their next cycle.

Thibs stays in Chicago, the management conflict is over blown.

Flip stays coach in Minnesota hoping to groom Minnesota for Hoiberg in a few years.

Fred is staying quiet because it's what he should be doing no matter if he is staying, going, or deciding. But he will eventually leverage this situation to a larger budget/raise.

I have no sources, which seems better than many of the "sources" being posted.
