JFC, they put a story out off that one guys tweet? So now a local news station is citing a tweet from a guy who works for Fox sports west to generate news? They work out of Des Moines and that is their best source? What the ****.

I replied to this guy earlier today. I don't buy it. Fred may be considering it, but it's not his style to openly talk about it with someone who would leak it.

like i said earlier.....at first I wasn't worried, but Fred saying nothing is speaking volumes. Sure he's said he's not leaving before, but no possible way the concern from the fan base hasn't gotten back to him at this point with increased speculation.
And no way recruits aren't picking up on this silence.

it will be however extraordinarily disappointing if we lose arguably our two greatest athletes in their sports (Cael and CFH) to greener pastures.

They haven't even fired Thibs yet. One would think they would have at this point? Unless Reisendorf only wants Hoiberg and is waiting for his commitment.

Fred loves ISU so much that he can't handle the stress and wants to leave.

No, the team loses any rights they have to his employment if they fire him as they terminated his contract and owe him according to the terms of the contract. If Thibs wanted to take another job on his own while under contract then the team still has the rights to control his employment which is why they have not fired him yet. They will either have to get someone to agree to give them compensation for him or retain him as head coach because they lose all rights to him once he's fired.

They don't need compensation, in fact if nothing else they will just s
hand off his contract that alone is worth 9m
