He is running out of time to decide. Frankly, it should be decided by now since he has probably pondered this opportunity a few years..

I'm liking the lack of rumors or of cyclonedandy on this board today. No news is good news :)

The silence is deafening.

I know absolutely nothing but I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark at why there is so much silence today.

1. The Bulls have offered the job to Fred.
2. Fred told them he will think about it.
3. Paige's graduation party was today, so Fred wasn't going to make a decision today.
4. The Bulls are waiting to hear back from Fred so they aren't leaking any info.
5. ISU is waiting on Fred, so they aren't leaking any info.
6. If Fred would have said yes or no to Chicago, I feel that something would have leaked by now, especially on the Chicago side.
7. I think more rumors will start leaking tomorrow and Monday when this progresses.

graduation was today and not tomorrow? I have no idea, just know our local high school did a Sunday grad ceremony. Either, what timing there. First child graduating and you're contemplating a major career change.

Maybe everyone on CF should go to Paige's graduation party, and never let the party end, therefore, he will never have the time to decide what he's doing.

Agree, except I think while fred may have told them "he'll think about it" probably that was just cover to avoid a circus disrupting paige's party. Things will move quick now that that is out of the way...most likely not the way we want it. You don't have to wait for a party to be done to tell Chicago "no."

I thought somebody said her graduation party was today...
Could be wrong.

Whenever it is, I feel this would be a very busy weekend for their family and his coaching decision is being put on the back burner until Monday or so.

i heard they had Italian beef sandwiches for Paige's party and there was Nuts On Clark popcorn on the tables...
