So are you claiming Dandy (or his source) is also correct about TJ being named interim HC for next season? Or is Jamie going to actually look for a coach?

Don't know. I do think TJ will be interim HC though but prefer that is not the case.

This exactly. Twins and I are posting something we are hearing about the current situation. Can that situation change? Absolutely. Unless
Hoiberg has a change of heart, no pun intended, all "signs" point to him leaving for the Bulls.

I hope the plans change and he stays but for what we hear now he's gone.

I doubt Twins and I have the same source so the rumor is getting out in more than one way.

He makes his living as a reporter and being knowledgeable and in the know. His job is to inform the public about ISU sports. He doesn't work for the AD, and it's not his job to cover for them. He might sit on a story and not say anything about it at most. You are suggesting he is actively trying to mislead. I think as a journalist he would be very offended by that notion. It's silly to even suggest it. You're better off just going with the argument that you know something he doesn't.

So let's say right now he knows Fred is leaving and gets asked his opinion on it, you think he says he thinks Fred is leaving when every Cyclone fan on Twitter is refreshing his Twitter page? You could be correct but I think Hines knows a lot more about ISU bball than me. I hope he's honest if he says he's leaning towards Fred staying

Unless your source has the last name "Hoiberg" you still don't really know what is going to happen. Stuff heard from seemingly solid sources is just info that they want to be out there. Sure, it may end up being 100% true, but it's all part of the game. All sides everywhere are looking for leverage and are trying to spin everything to make them look as good as possible.

Conveniently about halftime of the Bulls game last night. I kind of figured it would come out by today so was hoping I didn't have to say anything until people starting bashing Dandy

Let's look at it this way, Hines obviously knew WELL in advance TJ was leaving and didn't say anything to suggest it was a done deal even when he knew it was. If Hines gets asked on Twitter today if Fred is leaving and says he is leaning towards Fred leaving what happens? People freak out

I think he knows Fred is leaving and is playing it off until he knows it's coming out but that's strictly my opinion

I said I don't know if the players knew otherwise I agreed with him. Why would you think long time posters are making up that Fred Hoiberg is leaving?
