The only thing I want for a little justice in this whole situation is for Thibs to force the Bullz to fire him and get no draft picks and lose the 9 million, and then get beat by the Pelicans in the 1st round of the playoffs next year with Thibs at the helm.
Elmo off-screen drowning in a puddle of his own tears = Cyclone fans*
I like Keith Murphy but it is funny that he goes on Twitter and says he knows the Twolves are in play and talks about it all over the radio and then an hour later that gets proven to be false
If Fred leaves, I will be ******. I don't want to be told how to feel about it. I don't care if people say I am butthurt. I will be ****** and I will not wish Fred well with the Bulls. In fact, the Bulls will be the team I root against the most in the NBA for taking him from us. Here are my reasons:
1. I love Iowa State. I want Iowa State basketball to win a National Championship more than I want any team I root for to win a title.
2. I think that Fred Hoiberg as our coach is the best chance to win that title and I also believe that he knows that too.
3. As much as I love Iowa State, I could not imagine in my heart that I love Iowa State more than Fred Hoiberg does. I did not grow up as an ISU fan. I am not from Iowa. I did not play for ISU. I don't live in Ames or have family there. There is not way that I could love ISU more than Fred.
4. How Fred could do this to something he loves so much is unimaginable. I breaks my heart. I will forgive him, but I will not root for him or wish him well unless he someday decides to come back to ISU and coach again.
5. We may get a very good coach to replace Fred, but he will never be Fred. There will always be a hole if Fred leaves.
So that is how I feel. I don't care if you don't like it.

He was wrong about all of it according to Jeremy and others. No interim, no decision 2 weeks ago, no informing players or coaches 2 weeks ago. I thought he was leaving too when he said it and I thought Otz had a good shot but it I still think he was wrong and fed bad information guesses by someone close to the situation. But don't fault him or you for posting what you heard, actually appreciate it. I just don't buy it.
If you think he's an awful writer try listening to him talk on the radio.
I'll bet my life savings the Bulls don't lose to the Pelicans in the first round next year.

Seems like Georges has as better handle than most.
I hope if Fred leaves the guys use it as ammo to play better than last year. Imagine the sweetness if the made Final Four and the Bulls didn't even make the playoffs.
Fred leaving is bad and him leaving is a blow to the program yes. But Fred doesn't owe you anything and if he leaves will have done nothing to require forgiveness.
Please feel free to be ****** off. You should be upset, but don't act like Fred is doing something that is in any way wrong.
PA on KFAN here in Minneapolis said Fred will be the coach of the Wolves, but not until 16-17, or 17-18.
It's always been a dream and goal of his to Coach in the NBA and that was made clear from Day 1.
Who proved him wrong?
