His family staying in Texas rather than move to Omaha, ISU commit Cole Anderson has concerns over the distance between home and Ames. However, after an in-home visit with Paul Rhoads on Wednesday, Anderson told AllCyclones.com he's been reassured .
That is surprising. He seemed crazy for ISU just a month ago. He said that even with the coach changes, no doubt in his mind that he is committed to ISU or something like that.

Anyone know what the story is with Wendell Taiese, he signed early but appears to not be on the roster like the rest of the early signees. Is it possible this could be one of the other open schollie?
Looking at the roster, I think we have four with Jensen's departure. The guys I want are Michael Warren since we need to replace Mister. I like Greg Gooch since we may be able to convert him to a DE, He is 6'2" 250lbs with 4.6 speed. Obviously with more weight, he will be slower, but I won't be rendered sleepless knowing he slows to a 4.8 if he is 275. J.T. Gray would be HUGE (he is my number one). He has offers from Ole Miss, Miss St, USC and Oregon and is visiting this weekend. He knows Jordan Harris well (I don't know if they are brothers or not) and he plays the DB position better than most of our players on the current roster. Finally, we need a JUCO for obvious reason.
I agree, Gray would be a huge get. We are really thin at CB now and need 1 maybe 2 incoming freshmen to be able to play this year.
