Why? If he redshirted, he'd have a chance to break into the rotation when those two are seniors, then still have three more years to play.
Is Floyd not signing today?
He may be a spring JUCO graduate. Pierson is JUCO and he committed today but isn't signing until February. Floyd may be in that same boat.
We have four high school defensive tackles in the last two classes, and only one defensive end. You might want to rethink that a tad.
I found it amusing that ALL of Outing's school interests are now listed as "Low". What--he doesn't like anybody? :wink:

That's true, but if Jensen leaves, we only have 6 guys on scholarship on the inside of the d-line next year. We need another one since Coe and Irving will be seniors.
There are a lot of things on this kids tape that are very likable....plays with power, hand control and sheds blocks. Gets the edge and has a lot of different moves that look very polished. Natural pass rusher from the edge and able to redirect quickly as evident by his ability to pass rush, change direction and still make plays on running or passing plays.
This kid would be a great player to develop and mold into an impact player. This would be a great great get imo....go get him CPR!!!!!!
Going for a hail mary with Jihad Ward who they offerred today or Terry Ayeni also offered today, they would be our 2nd and 4th best commits in high need positions.
Hail Mary's can work sometimes but Rhoads seemed to miss on the timing with him. But seriously who names their kid Jihad? In a country no less that has fought a ten year war with jihadist extremists. And he is from New York! Sure that name goes over well with New Yorkers. I guess to be fair he was 8 when 9-11 happened so the name probably wasn't as meaningful in 1993, but still.

Brujuon Bonner committed to Memphis. Iowa State had offered and we were high on him. I assume interest went down after we signed out 43rd DB of the class.
