Update on Terrell Clinkscales:
247 Recruiting has him predicted to Nebraska and 2nd to Texas Tech. Nebby's coach recruiting him is Rick Kaczenski who are beloved Hawkeyes loved to see go and coach on Nebby's staff. Tech already has 2 JuCo Defensive Tackle commits & Clinkscales would be their 3rd. Also shows he received an offer from Oregon.
Hope this is inaccurate & we stand a chance, but Iowa State listed as Cool now & does not look good. Was severely hoping for Clinkscales & Gooch!!! McDaniel too!!!!

Big difference is that Nelson was an undersized DE for the Big 12, which is why he really only played on passing downs for us (had a few sacks if I remember right). Pierson, if his listing is accurate, has good size for a DE. Reading up on him though I think he has developed into more of a pass rusher as time went on and started out more of a run stopper... I get the feeling Nelson was always primarily just a pass rusher at DE.

Looking at Minnesota's success this year so far, pretty sure that ship sailed.
I agree. The only way it could possibly change is Jerry Kill's health declining and he retires or something to that affect. It will still a great game though.
One never knows. I, admittedly, know very little about Minny's current roster. That & other relationships are what will direct where he attends. Can't deny he had an awesome game on October 26th. Mercy.

As I said before, dude may have been the biggest get ever in our program. Per 247 though, he has cooled on ISU & has 3 Nebby, OSU, & T Tech.
Here's to hoping Scout is correct, thinking the Trey Scott guy has elevated Scout somewhat. However, 247 looks to have been keeping up with Clinkscales. Rivals not showing much other the Mid-level interest in lot of schools & 4 visits: us, KSU, Nebby, & T Tech
I have an extremely hard time seeing Clinkscales become a Cyclone with all of these big dogs knocking on his door..
