Is he an actual OLB or do you think they plan on beefing him up and moving him to DE? AT 6'4" he would be a tall LB...not saying that's a bad thing though

I thought Tulsa opened my eyes to what can and can't be a workable option at LB. They had a guy that was 5'10" and 265lbs and he was a beast. If he has good closing speed and instincts, I say why not.
I kind of think no commitment happened. You think the player would have tweeted about it or we would have heard about it by now, but we haven't.

.....mabye the commitment is under wraps for now because the recruit needs to decommit from another program

Not necessarily. I'm sure in his line of work that he knows quite a few coaches in and out of state. He probably talks to coaches more than he talks to kids. Just saying...I don't know who it is.
