Maybe Purdue is thinner at the position than us. Or maybe the negative recruiting about our coaching staff worked...
Easily at this point. I expect Indiana to start winning some conference games with the kids they hauled in last year. Purdue, well yeah.
Think ISU still adds one HS DT to develop in the wings even if the defense is the Juco AA team next year.

I'm not sure there are any good ones out there (unless we find a decommit somewhere), and we still have Cousin, Aka, Garcia and Trent as youngsters. Of course, next year the spot will be even more imprtant.

Possible wildcat formation with Mister and Wimberly next year? Defenses might assume ISU is going to run, but then have Mister hit Lazard over the top when the defense packs 9 in the box :yes:
I agree there may not be a whole lot available, but there does not look to be anyone in the current commits who can bulk to this position, and ISU will either need to develop someone or go heavy on JUCO DT in a couple years. Traditionally ISU has filled its void with developed kids on the interior. Coe and before him, Rubin, seem more like exceptions and not the rule.

I wouldn't be surprised if they found another Coe/Clinkscales in the '14 class...
And they still may scrape up a JC player in this class, to take the edge off the loss of all those senior DT's next season.
