See, I was kind of curious about that, because he doesn't seem to be nearly as fast or athletic as your Fiedorowicz, and the one article I saw said he didn't seem to have the shoulders or frame to grow into a tackle. So, I'd guess that the reason to offer him would be those grades...and the hope that he matures into some kind of usable player.

Not complaining about that, I would have been happy to have him be a Cyclone. Who knows how he develops. Best wishes to him.
 
I may be wrong here, but it seems like Stanford and ND have been recruiting the state of Iowa a lot the last few years. It seems like every decent prospect has offers or interest from those two schools.

I've read a lot saying Defensive end for him.

I was at the Gainesville vs Dr. Phillips spring game last Friday night. In a game filled with D1 prospects, including at least 3 with ISU offers (Kenric Young and Matt Solt from Gainesville and Proctor from DP), Proctor may have been the best athlete on the field. He would be a HUGE get for the Cyclones.

BTW - I also saw Coach Messingham at the game. He has been working the Orlando area hard.

Interesting factoid..... What College Football program has offered the most football related scholarships to Florida high school students....................... You guessed it.............. Iowa State University.

This kid is small, but he is one of the most dynamic playmakers in the 2014 class in Florida. He is a fantastic return man, can play RB or in the slot. I pasted his film below. Spoiler alert - you will have to watch more than 3 minutes of film to see him ever get tackled...

I was going to make a "wish list," but with all these new offers that would be very difficult. I definitely want the 2 Wisconsin TEs and Jackson Morrison, Jeff Jones, Nile Sykes..... 2 WRs and 2 more DBs. We have so many good offers at those 2 positions, it's hard to pick who I want. One of the WRs should be a good return man
