Filled mine out. Have Kentucky beating UNC in the title game. Had Iowa State losing in the 2nd round to UK. My final 4 were UK, Mizzou, Ohio State and UNC. All in Final 4 are 1 and 2 seeds. I think it's just going to be one of those years. Game on!
I'm in. This promises to be a disaster. I have Kentucky going to the Final Four. Like a lot of people on this site, I would not be disappointed if their tournament run comes to an early end next Saturday.
Mine is looking like a real homer bracket. I started with "what if ISU beats Kentucky" on that part of the bracket, and then kept going matchup by matchup. It got pretty out-of-control after a while.
One region always seems to be topsy-turvy like that. I'm counting on our guys to make it happen!
And now the comment from the guy who reads but never posts...
I always do better in bracket challenges when ISU isn't in it, because I can never bring myself to pick them to lose when they're supposed to lose (and because the one time I got to watch them play in the NCAAs in person, I saw them go a round farther than they should--and woulda been 2 rounds if not for a lucky-a** UCLA shot).
Anyway, I don't have ISU losing until the Elite Eight. The worst part is that if you can bring yourself to pick an upset over UK, then how do you pick ISU to lose to anyone else?
So, I'll probably finish behind everyone smart enough to advance Kentucky to the second weekend and beyond. Oh well. Filling out a perfect bracket is a more far-fetched dream than seeing White, Allen and Christopherson lead ISU to New Orleans anyway.
Gotta get in on this action. KU over UK in the final. UK-Mizz and KU-Cuse in the final 4. I am having trouble deciding on who to pick the ISU-Uconn game. If I pick ISU they will probably lose, but if I don't, they probably win. My bracket is kind of screwed either way, but I don't think either team will get past Kentucky so it won't matter much....
