***Offical NBA Regular Season Thread***

Nice to see the Heat lose. Pretty sad it came in the hand of the 76ers. Michael Charter Williams really had a hell of a game.

Yeah. I think the Heat were just not quite in shape yet for a back to back. Especially with game 2 of the back to back on the road, never an easy thing in the NBA.

yeah but after moves 76ers made I don't think I can name one 76er other than evan turner.

I know we have alot of Minny fans on here, good to see them get a win. Golden St. handing the Lakers a dose of reality. Looks like Hornacek may get a win in his debut as head coach.

Play near the end of Bulls/Knicks tonight is exactly why I'm not thrilled about replay in the NBA or the sport of basketball in general, could not have better illustrated why it doesn't work as well as football or even baseball.

Rose is up in the air, live it looks like the ball is deflected out of bounds by NY but they review it. The announcers think it's an obvious out on Knicks but I actually see it's out on Rose's fingertips as do the officials eventually. The thing is the direction and motion of the ball are caused by two players making contact on Rose's arm and there are three hands right by the ball. If fouls aren't reviewable on that play, I don't think it's rational that we get down to the tiny centimeter details of whose fingertip it grazed last. It really does stink when they get an out of bounds call wrong at the end of the game, but in basketball these replays are just dumb if they can't make some judgement calls about fouls during the replay session.

It has nothing to do with the flow of the game and everything to do with what is fair, what if the contact on Rose's arm had been a horrible no call which will be the case sometimes, instead of just some typical contact that wasn't called? In this sport about half of the replays are going to be obvious they're not even scrutinizing the call they should be on the play.

agree HFCS. not sure how you look at that and see anything to overturn call on court. Much needed win for Bulls tonight.
