Excellent job tonight Justin Hamilton. Guy looks like a completely different player from the beginning of the season.

Double double with 7 offensive rebounds. Playing almost the entire game against a preseason all-american center.

An excellent game from him. Awesome.

We played fine tonight I think. We are playing the #1 team, the refs have been horrific, and we still hung in there late with almost no bench.

I am more ticked tonight than I have been in a while because of how bad these refs are.

I hope Hamilton keeps up with this level of play. Homan, Hubalek, Vroman. Lots of big guys have had a really good career at ISU, and he can be right there on top.

As it looks now, he's the bright spot we have for next year. We know how the NCAA rules work for the Cyclones, so I don't think we'll see Gilstrap next year. And Brackins is probably gone, too.

I could not agree more.. We have played pretty well actually for the last three games. My opinion, but we really have. And tonight, good God, Kansas is pretty good you know.. lets see... what are they ranked again? and with good cause! 7 scholarship guys with one with mono.. and there are lots of reasons why we are there.. Think VanderBeeken would have made a difference? Or Dendy tonight? I do.

I agree with you that we played fine tonight given who and where we played. It's the other very winnable games that has ticked me off. But moral victories or excuses are not settling well anymore. We lack coaching, leadership, and consistent effort. Enough is enough... the name on their jerseys deserves more.

Yeah, I think some of the frustration people are having at this game is really because of the other games, because on the straight facts, we gave a good effort tonight against a great team.
