***Offical ISU @ Drake Game Thread***

Yeah the season is young but seriously no matter how u look at it this game is embarrassing. Guys didnt come to play. No one even looked like they cared about the game until we were down 8 with 2 min left. This wasn't a hostile environment, and it was barely away from ames. Drake is not good. No excuse
 
that is probably a great observation. if mcgee can play the point I would stick him or Allen there and keep s c off the ball.

anyone else notice how selfish this ****in team is? Every time we had a big possession coming down the stretch someone felt the need to jack up a horrible 3, brick it, and turn it ove.

that was only Allen...about 5 or 6 possessions tonight. check out his stats and you'll see.
 
Flat. Nobody moves on offense. With all of these shooters why are we not moving the ball around like crazy? NO HELP DEFENSE! Royce and Babb stood and watch SC get burnt multiple times. Hoiberg better make some changes. pitiful game

Scotty could not guard me. That is bad.
 
It's obvious that we need SC to play off of the ball. And we miss Jake Anderson way more than we thought we would.
 
Naz will be a starter as soon as possible. Too much dribbling and little passing. Drake is worse than any team in the Big 12. We were better last year.
 
I'm not down on this season at all. It's very early and we still have talent, that doesn't change with one bad loss. I think we will come together as the season progresses.

The thing that does bother me is some of the coaching decisions. I've never seen a team switch every single screen before, we set ourselves up in mismatches. Switching every screen also breeds lazy defense and poor rebounding. Offensively, we don't have an identity yet but it will come. I would like to see Allen handle the ball a lot more.
