***Offical ISU @ Drake Game Thread***

Conclusion: we're not where we want to be. Our defense is bad. Good thing games in November don't matter. Once the conference games come around we'll see where we're at.
 
Well now it's over. Drake gave a great effort. Iowa State couldn't hit the broad side of a barn from 5 ft away. Poor effort shooting in the paint and at the free throw line, that's what lost the game in the end.

Hopefully the bad shooting from the line and from point blank doesn't become a season long issue.

With any luck CFH has learned his lesson that he should have got a JC PG because this is what is the problem with this team.

No, it's both. He's horrible on D, I'll give you that, but this team has no identity on offense either. It's 4 guys dribbling around and trying to play 1-on-1
 
I don't like that we're switching on every screen. Scotty's getting abused.
 
If nothing else, Scotty was totally exposed defensively at the point tonight. He should not have been in there at the end of the game.
 
Can't make layups or free throws. Not a great way to start the season. The continual switching on D wasn't easy on the eyes either.
 
Can someone who lives locally in the DM area please head over to the Drake's s****y basketball arena and kick both of their announcers right in the bag for making me now dumber for having to listen to them tonight. Thank you in advance.
 
**** it we are Iowa State!!! Why do I care sooo much about sports anymore? It is all getting stupid anymore. Later may be my last post, should not have lost to ******* Drake that is all.
