Obligatory "no respect" post

We are 1-2 after losses to UNI and Iowa. Of course we have no respect. Respect is earned, so far we've earned a 4 inch column on the last page of the daily commuter. "Cyclones beat hurricanes. Set record for lowest watched prime-time game of all time"

This. Participation ribbons aren't handed out in college athletics, only K-12. If we want respect, we have to beat the FCS UNIs and not-very-good Iowa teams of the world.

There's this mistake also:

Should be "The Other" Sam Richardson, but nobody reads this stuff anyway. Are we the only team that shares numbers offense/defense?

1-Too bad, because they missed a decent game
2-There was an NFL game on
3-Nobody even knows they have FS1 on their cable system unless they are into ultimate fighting
 
I thought it was funny when I read the Box Score last night. Walter Woods was credited with 1 pass reception for 4 yards. They have it corrected now. Ben Boesen made the catch.
 
We should be fortunate they even did a story on the game. And we got some time on Sportscenter as well. Maybe we should play all our games on Thursday. :-)
 
Why haven't any of ESPN's Big XII bloggers written anything about last night's game? They write at least four columns after every Texas game. There hasn't been one thing written about last night's game. I'm assuming this has to do with being televised on a competing network.

They probably scan CF to find out when we get too restless. When we ***** too much about them, they post something.

So what I'm trying to say is, good job alerting them today!
