ESPN was previewing Obama's picks for when they release them tomorrow and I caught a glimpse of us beating UCONN.

I didn't see the rest because it was fast but they are saying he has a #1 seed losing early... and it ain't UNC because they previewed him writing it into his Final Four

I was just about to post this too. He has us losing to Kentucky however.

Don't care, but here's how it will go.

He'll lull everybody to sleep by picking chalk for awhile and then pick a minor upset so that makes the average person thinks he has a sack. Also, Georgetown will win one more game than they're supposed to, as long as the favorite isn't from a swing state.

Baracketology | President Barack Obama's 2012 NCAA men's basketball tournament bracket

Picked all the 8 seeds. Picked all the 10 seeds minor upsets of 7s
Only 2 other upsets other than those 10-7 onse in the first round.
Sweet 16 is all 1-4 seeds, except 11 seed NC St and 5 seed New Mexico
Elite 8 is all the 1 and 2 seeds except for 2-duke being upset by 3-Baylor
Final 4 is all 1s and 2s.

Very 'safe' bracket.
 
That's cool. We'll take all the support we can get. I don't know if any of you guys heard, but Doug Gottlieb also picked us to beat UConn. :jimlad:

No kidding. This was somewhat cute the first time but now it's passe. Bush II has probably forgotten more about baseball than Obama will ever know about bball but you didn't see him on Fox every year predicting the playoffs. I don't get the fascination.

Apparently, my employer believes that my work time is better spent not looking at the president's bracket. Got the dreaded "Access to this site is restricted" warning.

Luckily, CF is still OK!

I wouldn't say it's a big news story by any means. Considering the President is a huge basketball fan though, and well, it's not like College basketball is saving the world, I don't think it's out of line to at least call it noteworthy. I'd feel different if it were the top story on CNN, Fox and other news channels (although Fox will only tell you when the president's pick loses and what a bad decision he made), the news channels are about as reliable as ESPN nowadays. But it's college hoops, the president has a bracket, why wouldn't they comment on it?
