I want to know what people in Des Moines call the night before Halloween. I've never called it anything but the map shows that there's an area covering Des Moines and southwest Iowa that calls it something.

We call it Beggar's Night, which is not on the list.

Ahhh, I thought Beggar's Night was Halloween itself. I've been here for 5 years and still hadn't managed to figure that out.

I call it October 30th.

Same. I put other.

I got Des Moines (where I lived most of my life), Spokane, and Boise. Apparently the last two were because I use the word "kitty-corner".

Kitty-corner got me to Rockford, MI...also Des Moines and Grand Rapids MI. Lived in SW Iowa/Omaha area all my life.

it says kitty-corner means I'm from Madison and pop means I'm from Des moines/ Omaha.
