NU defense is embarrassingly bad....

Did this game matter at all for Iowa’s bowl positioning or are they pretty much assured to be heading to San Diego?

I don't think anything's assured. I don't like our chances if the Holiday Bowl is choosing between 9-3 us and a 9-3 Michigan. I could see Gator or even Music City.

Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State in 2020 for cross divisional games. On the road vs Minnesota the weekend after the ISU game. They end the year with Wisconsin.

Pretty quick to answer my second question, but to ashamed to answer the first one?

Ferentz is now 10-0 against fleck, Campbell and frost.

The Big Ten replay officials tried their best to get Nebraska to a bowl game and the Lou Groza award winner said nope.

I have always hear Iowa fans are above ripping officials. Maybe Iowa could be a little better if they spent more time at practice having their QB work on throwing instead of having him work on punting. It is just crazy how he can have such a bad offense and be so bland year after year and still win 8+ games. He is probably the only coach in the country that can do that year after year.

I know this season didn't go as planned. A lot of close games but man.....maybe Kirk should have let another QB takes some snaps.

Frost gets fired next season when he is grabbed on the tarmack in New Jersey and told he will not fly home with the team. Some assistant endures the final 5 beat-downs with the Cornhuskers scoring 24 points in five games (one field goal against Iowa and 5 against Minnesota)....Tommy Frazier is announced the head coach on Dec. 1, 2020 and he promises the Tradition will win a National Championship within 4 years. Ticker tape parades are given in Gretna.

I think the season went exactly or better than predicted, especially after losing four underclassmen to the NFL draft.
What I meant was a breather type of game i.e. Illinois....to let the backup get some snaps. That's a heck of a schedule for breaking in someone.

Looking at the Michigan OSU halftime charts and looks like the big ten is definitely defense optional now. Over 600 yards offense at halftime.

I respectfully disagree. In my eyes the ball shifted when he hit the ground.

Too many people don't understand the rule. You have to maintain possession all the way, even after you hit the ground. Remember our win at the Liberty Bowl? A Memphis defender intercepted Kyle's pass in the end zone, fell down, rolled completely over, and only then did he lose the ball. Called an interception, but replay overturned, which was the correct call.

Exact same scenario as the Iowa incompletion yesterday. I see several hit Disagree on my earlier post but the rule is consistently applied as I have described, which is exactly as the rule is written.

A question on this. Let’s say a player catches the ball, rolls over with it firmly in his possession. A defender reaches in and rips the ball out. Complete or incomplete?
