The bottom line is that NCCU could play their best game of the year and it still wont be enough to win as long as we play Cyclone basketball.
 
I thought we got a decent break as far as the top seeds in our region, but getting a team that's won 28 games as a 14 seed is kinda rough.

I'm trying to be as productive as I can today thru Wednesday because I know there is no way I'll get anything done the rest of the week.

Playing the best 14 seed that beat NCST and then in the second round likely needing to play a team that was ranked ahead of us when the seeds came out?
 
We were all worried at least a little by our first round draws in the past couple of years, and why not? We played 2 teams with at least some, and in one case a lot, of NCAA pedigree. Remember how we handled those situations? Plus, dare I say, this year's team is more balanced offensively, and has the ability to play great defense, at least in certain stretches. We may struggle a little very early, but we're winning this game going away...I'd be pretty surprised if it was within 20...now tell me where I messed up and why you think differently?

Those aren't the top seeds though. Virginia, Villanova are as favorable of a 1, 2 seed as we could of hoped for in our bracket.

WSU, NCST, Maryland and Cin fans all said they would beat up by 20 plus, never happen.
 
How does your team control tempo? Are they a zone defensive team or man to man or a sort of hybrid? Good rebounding team?

I'm pretty sure that it's a smart team, or it's difficult to advance from a tough conference, and they did it.
But I doubt they'll know all of our plays. I'm not even sure we know all our plays. Fred is a diabolical offensive mastermind loaded with some creative players.

I still think it's a tough, tough game, but I wouldn't go as far as "they'll know all the plays."
