If you see a male and female of the same species as you getting in before you, you probably better learn to swim real well.

It reminds me of the Italian restaurants I went to as a kid so the nostalgia is strong for me. I like the lasagna a lot. The fried green peppers are great.
I heard there were some family issues with the owners. I really hope they stay open.
There were so many family owned Italian restaurants in Des Moines when I was growing up. Sadly most of them are gone. We really did have a lot of good Italian food in Des Moines. I used to belong to the Club of Italian Americans in Des Moines. I think they said there were over 30,000 people of Italian decent (this was in the 90s) in the Des Moines, area. So I guess it would make sense there would be a lot of good family owned restaurants and pizza. Noah's one of them of course.

Is there still a "Little Italy" area on the south side or has that faded away?

Rochellis (sp?) was a good place to eat. The old man who owned the place used to walk around and bark at the servers a lot. Always got a kick out of that.
