No More Cursing

I wouldn't be too surprised either if GMac would have got rung up a few times on this last year too. He's all over the refs sometimes. Fennelly is the same way too.

Why would they make such a silly rule?.. if there is no more cussing allowed then the refs shouldnt be allowed to make bad calls anymore. thats ********
 
The army tried to install something like this when I was in. It's really funny to hear a Drill Sgt. call you a frigin' stupid head because he can't say ****** Jack***.

Side note... it didn't work so well for any of the old school.

I’ve not read the details of this ruling, but difficulty in definition seems inherent. Cursing according to whom? Excremental? Procreational? Anatomical? Religious? If religious, whose religion? Does this ruling spell out exactly what words are acceptable? Where is the line? Is not a Poophead and a S***head essentially the same insult?

At the risk of veering off into a whole different subject, this is the same kind of thinking that extols “Family Values.â€￾ Whose family? Whose values?

Will the coaches get a handbook to say something like CA did/does? "Instead of making obscene chants/words, tell the refs 'I strongly disagree'"?
