They're probably too late to make a move, now, but they probably should have canned him at the end of the season. He might be a candidate to get canned mid-season, though. I'd imagine there's going to be zero margin for error on his part.

I get that it's humorous and all when it's happening to a program that isn't Iowa State, but to be honest I feel kind of bad watching this happen. I view them as a rival, but not one that I have hatred for, if that makes any sense. I don't know if it's because our schools are so similar (enrollment, agriculture, hate for KU, etc.), but outside of playing ISU, I've always cheered for them to do well. It probably helps that we don't really seem recruit against them ever (in hoops, anyway).

This is the type of tailspin that takes years for a program to get itself out of.

Man, KSU must have taken my doubt in them personally when I said Mizzou was the bigger dumpster fire between the two of them. They are now out to prove me wrong.

I felt myself agreeing with you until I started to think about the last 5+ years of football games against them, then I thought "Haha, take that purple kitties!!!!"
