For those interested, Niang will be on Jim Rome today. I believe he said in the noon hour.

Thanks for the heads up.

Georges talking about his appreciation for ISU fans and the love fans show. "They might put you before God".

My kids always give us crap about our high mileage vehicles. Maybe Georges' 240,000 make it cool?

Say what you want about Rome, but him and the XR4TI (his crew) do a good job of getting background info for good questions.

Except for when Jim said Georges passed Fred for all time leading scorer. I laughed at that.

Agreed. You can like or dislike his show, but he might be the best interviewer in the business

Great interview and not surprised that Rome said Georges 'nailed it'.
I was hoping that Rome might ask him about where the team is mentally now and what he thinks the team will do post season.

Completely agree. I used to hate Rome but after trying to listen to Rich Eisen in the same slot on KXNO, I have a new found appreciation for him. It seems like most of the national guys are NFL 365 days a year but Rome will actually take someone like Niang, Hoiberg, Prohm and Campbell and give them solid interviews.

Yeah,

Not to mention his takes on various "guys" are gold. Also, the smackfoff is around the corner which is always good.

Rome used to have a guy named Kyle Moss help out. Moss went to ISU so we always had some representation back in the day.
