Niang at it again

BABC plays Houston Defenders in the championship. If I'm not mistaken, that is the Harrison twins team.

A scout tweeted this am that one of the Harrison's was T'ed up for arguing a non-call. Commented that he "wasn't surprised."

The more I hear about those sissies, the more I dislike them. If Niang gets in a fight with them, (goes Odunsi on them) I won't be mad. I will probably think even more of his reputed character.

its an interesting "experiment" showing aau games on espn - it really shows how tired these kids are by the end of july, and how sloppy the play can get. its not all mix-tape highlights all the time. i can easily see how coaches "miss" on a prospect when there's a >50% chance the kid might play lousy and not look like a high major player.

It wasn't a "mixtape" kind of game. My comments just meant that BABC didn't look as sharp as the last time I watched them. Part of that was probably because they were heavy favorites, tired from playing a bunch of games, and just had an off-game. Hoops Heaven had a good game plan, too.

Georges Niang tops list of undervalued players - ESPN

Niang is this guys top underrated player outside of the top 100.

Georges Niang (Methuen, Mass./The Tilton School)
2012, PF, 6-7, 230 pounds | AAU Team: BABC
Committed: Iowa State
Possibly the biggest steal so far in the 2012 class is the Iowa State commit from the Boston area. He came into the summer ranked outside the Top 100 and proceeded to consistently outplay higher-profile opponents. Although his game may not be flashy, he produces in both scoring and rebounding and has been the go-to horse many times even though he is playing next an All-American in Nerlens Noel. Iowa State did an outstanding job of evaluating the power forward and closing the deal before his stock soared through the roof.
