I'm from Algona and I think Kyle is getting very little if any scholarship money. If that's the case I wouldn't blame him, but to go from a walkon to a National Qualifier and put 4 years into the program and skip your senior year would have to be very tough.

Well, I sure don't want to count Simonson out until I hear it from him or the Coaches. He is awesome and has the heart of a Lion. If scholarship is the issue, imo he deserves better. I would like to see him wrestle his senior year.

Had his knee scoped on Wednesday, one in front and one in back, but not the ACL. Will wait to see how body heals to make a decision. NCAA Qualifier has motivated him tho.

Whew, glad to hear that. A scope is pretty much as good as you can hope for as far as going under the knife. Hopefully he hits the weights hard while the knee is rehabbing. The more muscle he can add before November the better.

I should clarify, he was suppose to have it scoped, unless they found something alot more serious. So I haven't heard that it was any different than a scope.
