Those new KU ones are better than ours. Ours are so incredibly boring. At least I have the jack trice game to look forward to.

That's the ugliest thing I've seen since the first attempt at Trice throwbacks. The helmet looks like it was designed by a 12 year old on NFL Blitz.
The ugly ass bird on their helmet is too big. Just put a KU up there and it works a lot better.
I agree with that. Otherwise, I think they are nice a clean and look good. I assume they've ditched the red, right? That was awful. You can't possibly get much worse than this....

I don't love our jerseys, but KU's are about as boring as it gets. Not necessarily a bad thing, but a weird critique.
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the jerseys... They feel empty, the only striping is on the shoulder, at least the numbers are interesting. I feel like the stripeless trend was done by Nike to cut costs on their jersey's by making them simple and boring.
Maybe the retro trend the athletic department and the football team has been embracing lately will result in some uni changes.
Why because they have a triple stripe on the sleeve? So does everyone since the 70s.
Ours are really pretty good honestly. If you don't like the combos below, I don't know what to tell you....
I just think blank jersey with blank pants is kinda boring. You can't even see the shoulder stripe thing in most of these pics.

Our road unis are good. We need a little more on the home pants. I don't love the huge numbers, but our jerseys are fine. Just could be better.
That might be so (although I'm a little skeptical of that claim), but that era is an outlier. We haven't used that gold much at all outside of those uniforms, and it's been closer to yellow for 50+ years now.

Because the gaudiness of the 2000-2020 is being ditched. Clean, retro looks will always have more staying power than the Oregon stuff.
More and more going with the shoulder stripe look. Overall though I do usually like the more traditional, cleaner look.
