Which seems kinda strange. Everything I hear is that kids the players age dig throwbacks...

Throwbacks & alternatives have more to due with Nike & budgets than what coaches & players want

& right now, supply chain issues will have an effect on things as well

Tampa Bay just announced a week or so ago that even with the one-shell rule lifted, they won't have creamsicle uniforms next year b/c Nike will not be able to produce consumer product quickly enough

If we see a new uniform next season, planning & production likely started months or even a year plus ago

Campbell's been here 6 seasons and hasn't done a throwback. I don't see him starting next year.

The 2023 season is ripe for a really cool Jack Trice throwback uniform. It will be the 100th anniversary of his death.

Generally there is some clue in the logo that helps someone who is unfamiliar or only marginally familiar equate it to the corresponding school. Someone who only sees that logo once a year is not going to make the connection, "Oh, yeah, that's Iowa State."

Was going to post this same thing. Trice stripes are a great secondary logo for football but what would the Trice stripes do for the other sports? Nothing.
