Great. That doesn't mean it doesn't have an effect as you imply in your earlier post.

But on cardinal, they have to use so many different shades of red that the background usually looks pink on TV. It does look much better on out cardinal helmets, which is more important.

Yeah...one year it was VERY pink on tv. Hated that. Not that there's anything wrong with pink.

I think the w/c/c is a good combo. I suppose you have to like the c/c/c to maybe like this one also, which I do. I don't know. We didn't see the w/c/c this year however. Did we see it last year (2020)? My guess is no because we did so much black that year.

I do like the red facemask here. Seems like we have only seen the white facemask the past 2 years, with the white helmet. Which is fine, I just like the red also, and maybe a little better.

We've worn the cardinal mask on the white helmets as recently as Texas Tech in 2020

I think the only tie-in for the black collar was using it with the black helmet (with regular I-State logo; not the black lid we use for the alts).

I like that look as well. Although I'd like to see some white in the jerseys to go with the helmet and pants.

I am not a fan of the white pants unless there is a white helmet. I am an outlier, I know.

It was discussed on CF in great detail up until the collar change 2 years ago. 90-95% here detested it and for good reason. It had no other tie in to black. It only looked decent with the b/c/c combo and black shoes, a combo that now seems out of favor.

ISU football uni design might be analogous to hiring a home redesign contractor. The idea being to redesign and upgrade the bathroom, garage and a room addition. The contractor works for awhile, partially get the bathroom done, gets your money then skips town.
