We could definitely see them at least once. They don’t care for them regularly, and obviously prefer the all blacks.
Actually, I came up with the original inception with one of my crude graphics attempts as shown here.
My thought, to make it less busy, would be to use just the "STATE" letters in an arc sized to be centered over each of the five Trice bars. And then, enhance the center Trice bar (with a gold outline and perhaps slightly wider) so that it becomes the "I".
All red does look kinda dumb imo, just a red blob. Again we need a stripe on the pants or something to break up the look.
I was curious about this set. Did they have to purchase a 2nd set of white pants (with the Black logo and swoosh)? Seems like a big expense (not when Big 12 was viable; but maybe now?) just for that effect.
I agree. The all-blacks are fine the way they are, no need to change them.
Perhaps in time we might get "a little" tired of them and want a slight change, but not yet. Leave them alone.
If they did want to add some red, I think just a very small amount would work. Here I depict just a trace of red, a darker red sleeve stripe. You hardly notice it. Then you could add a cardinal helmet bumper sticker in front or back, even a C/G I-State logo main helmet sticker if they wanted. And it would look good. IMO of course.
They looked good up close in the Thursday reveal video, but I thought they looked high schoolish on the field. The helmet is cool.
Not bs. You're a premium board member. There is literally a coach on video record stating the players do not like RRR.
Thanks for posting that. I find it hysterical because I’ve been in the middle of players three years in a row and they all love the reds. So I’m curious now if Skip is talking about the captains or a position group or something else. Because that’s not the pervasive sentiment among the bulk of the players.
I’m guessing if they come up with a new combo it will be this and we’ll have a white jersey with black letters.
Or one of you photo shoppin’ fools should do…

Just eye balling it, I think it’d look off. A white jersey with black outlines and letterings though? Maybe a tad of red? F*** that’d be cool. Could use your white, red and black helmets or pants if you had a jersey that looked like that.
B-W-B will look great for a road conference game at Utah or Stanford when they’re in red
