I State has been around for 12-15 years. I'm not too worried about people confusing it.
This was a valid argument when the logo was revealed in 2007. Nobody with half a brain still thinks this is a valid argument. The I-State logo is recognized definitively as Iowa State nationally.
I thought that way back then, and I wasn’t the only one. The ironic part is I still wear a lot of my whirlybird ISU clothing to this day (between my wife and me we know how to take care of clothes, even those I wear weekly). More than a decade later I’m asked if the logo is for Indiana State or Illinois State. When I wear my I-State stuff, nobody ever asks that question - as I said - that logo is unequivocally ISU nationally.
Awesome alternates. Hope we can see something like this whenever there is football again.
Put a cardinal face mask on that gold dome and I'd like to see it. Or even a white mask. Already it's pretty spicy.
I like these a little better, the white pant with full stripe and black I-State/Swoosh for several reasons. I think it is more classic and goes better w/ other combos. And I like the gold number with white trim jersey better than white number. Like both but again the gold number goes better with other combos IMO. Note: I would like them to keep two cardinal jerseys, both are here in this post. I think that would give them great flexibility.

These are all great. White helmet red jersey red pants is also a great look.
I like the stencil look period. Not a huge fan of the new age helmet stripes though.IMO, these are the best helmets we've ever worn, and it's not all that close.....

Could someone fill the "I" on the helmet in chrome gold, and also the white area in between the red stripes on the helmet. I think that could look pretty sweet.
I like the stripes down the middle of the helmet like that.

That look is alright, but those are with the old jerseys.
I don't think that look of the helmet would go well with our current whites.
