I’m gonna change my guess to W/C/W with old school walking Cy as the helmet logo.
Those 1983 uniforms sucked. Everyone hated them back then. Everyone! The logo has potential tho.
Red pants, Red jersey, Chrome gold helmet. Stencil I state would be my bet but a Criner Clone w/o the cheap Iowa State font from 83 would be sweet

How and why did we evolve from the actual gold color to corn yellow? I would love if we switched back to a Notre Dame type gold.
Someone get out the swatches or Trice jersey- I’m on my phone. Brown poop gold is NOT an original school color.
Jack Trice passed almost 25 years after Iowa State changed colors to cardinal and gold so we need to go further back than that.
Are you talking about black, silver, & gold? Were we originally Aggies? Yeah, there’s a reason they changed...
I feel like if they were going to go with a throwback, they would have shown it over the summer I think that's what they did with the '77 throwback for the Iowa game in '07 and the Trice throwback
Agreed. I’d be pleasantly surprised if they rolled out a whole uniform, but it wouldn’t take much to slap a walking Cy on the helmet.
ISU left that shade of gold upon Coach Majors arriving in the late 1960's. They went to a sunflower colored gold but it actually matched the swatches of ISU's original gold from way back when. When Criner arrived, he and Roger Gade changed our colors to a Green Bay shade of yellow and fire engine red.
Our Red is perfect right now, lighting occasionally makes it appear darker than it really is. Our gold cold darken up just a shade and be perfect as well.
Notre Dame gold isn’t brown poop gold. You can see the gold contrasts with the saints right now. We absolutely don’t want to go with a brown gold but getting the metallic aspect would be awesome.
I’ll be shocked if it’s anything gold. Campbell hates gold. You ever see him in anything yellow/gold/mustard/whatever?

The "Ames" helmet would be a unique 150th-type tie-in concept.
I'm of course partial to the gold helmet with '70s "I" logo (would need to see it with our jersey/pants options unless they're breaking out gold pants, too). The white helmet w/ Walking Cy has possibilities.
Also, I'm a "lukewarm acceptor" of the black uniforms, but Walking Cy white-on-black intrigues me as an occasional Alt.
I know everyone hates the poop emoji bugle logo but ESPN still uses it. A lot. So it's still in our logo catalog apparently.

Yeah and he hated those. Toledo was under a UA contract and the school wanted to do something new/different when they played on weeknights on espn or whatever.2015:
