Yeah; geez that sux. I agree that your combo should be based a bit on who you're playing. Playing another red team is when we should emphasize gold. Washington State should have emphasized grey- although maybe they're thinking that combo is jinxed since their last game.
I do not know how much coordination the two programs do with each other over stuff like this. Some collusion would help with the aesthetics of these games, though.
I was hoping for something like this against our all-white look...
Only complaint is that the white helmet needs the red facemask! Seems like to much white when they use the white facemask.
Love the white, almost any combo. The w/w/w will look great! One of my hopes is that in the near future, they might go back to stripes on the white pants only. Would look that much better.
Don't hate that at all- it will NEVER happen tho. We are getting to the point of needing to let goI'd be really happy if they come out with this logo on the white helmet!
So... what's in the box? Everything in the tweet today should have already been in the storage room???
Never? We've seen the staff sporting apparel with the Orr Cyclone on it in the past. It just takes someone deciding to use it as a secondary logo for the football helmets.
Stylish throwbacks are relatively common so I wouldn't say never.
Probably the warm ups and other apparel the players are wearing at events.

Big agree here. Think it would make these already good jerseys even better and tie the tops to the bottoms.
Among those combos with the new design, my top 5 ranking:
1. CWC (my usual road choice)
2. WWC
3. WCC
4. All-white
5. All-cardinal
---> All-black is well-done, especially under the lights, and we’re 2-0 in those games, so I can’t complain. I won’t pretend I embrace it.
Least-favorite: BCC, although it looked better than I would’ve expected.
