New Uniforms Revealed

A slightly adjusted version of the Walden helmet to get a little closer to the current gold & cardinal. I probably saturated the gold a little too much.

This is my favorite, Ultimate would be with the Orr Cyclone logo, but I actually love the script Cyclones logo too. These are such timeless classic looking logos.

Talking about helmet stripe or no, I really miss the pant stripe, on the white pant especially!


I have to admit that I've initially liked the no-stripe pant, but I think in time I won't as much. A pant stripe allows you to get more of your colors in there, for us Cardinal and Gold!

I'm thinking we will see the w/c/w combo again w/ Tech. Here are two examples, one with, and one without pant stripe.
To me and especially for the white pant, pant stripe just looks better. Maybe they could pull out the white pants from last year, haha (only half joking)!

I've long been in favor of helmet stripe(s), but with the new set, I don't mind the no-stripe. Pants, though, I wouldn't mind a single stripe on the cardinal and white pants, even if it's fairly narrow. Gives a little accent and isn't such a "leotard" look. (I think the pants look fine as they are, as far as fitting the overall look).

This seems like a common reach this week. The clue was the facemask.

It's homecoming. I'm assuming the players they are putting in the Past and Present images are coming to Ames this weekend.

They are just pulling a fast one on us. They get everyone talking about what they are going to do to the white helmet and in reality, they are putting the white face mask on the red helmet to pay homage to the mid 2000's team! lol

I said this as a joke, but now I am seeing quite a few people asking for it on twitter and facebook. I truly think this would look horrible with our current uniforms!

I think we will see some cardinal for homecoming. The black was great for the night game. Don’t expect it with homecoming.
