Oh the suspense! It will probably be all cardinal as that has been his thing so far, and missing the first game.
But it wouldn't surprise me if it was c/c/b.

I agree. But they did a poor job of showing what the pants will be. Whether that was on purpose or accident, I don't know...I'm fine with all cardinal though.
They cut to all black with the white stencil rather quickly...
And the ending screen is the black and white...
You heard it here first. I think they're lying and we'll wear all black Saturday. Won't find out until warm ups.
The three red circles are definitely the "template" for the weekly announcements that they will be all cardinal, despite video ending and blurry beginning, but as one predisposed to conspiracy theory, I would put 25% of my wager on "surprise" black pants to go with the cardinal helmets and jerseys per the reasons that have been outlined here so far.
Is it just me or are these uniform hype videos way too dark? Can barely see anything.
I really love the way the letter A jumps out with this. You can actually see the I and A come together (IA) for the states abbreviation.
That's going to be the trouble with these new uniforms.... there isn't many combos that will look very good IMO... that's why we'll see all red at home a lot probably.
Sure you could go with black or white pants with the red jersey, but neither would probably look that good because the black pants have no red in them, and the white pants have almost no red in them either without stripes.... just the logo.

As long as the helmet matches the pants, the uniform combo looks good.
The Oklahoma game from last year will always be one of the greatest games of all-time, but the uniform setup kinda ruins the highlights for me. I like to think of helmets and pants similar to belt and shoes. They have to match!
My favorite combo we have ever done was the TxT game a couple years ago. White/red/white
As long as there is trim in either the pants or the helmets they certainly don't need to match. The problem with these new Iowa State uni's is they skimped on the trim.
You are right. I do like the uniform combo we did at Okie lite two years ago. White, white, grey. I thought we looked sharp, but I love that strip that they add to the white helmets. I really always the logo to pop!
