They have to be hiding Gold options. Idk how you can go through this remodel and not have both the main colors as an option.

I don't know how the 'emoji' tornado made it through approval last year either.

We did not wear any gold elements last season.

Which sucks, because our gold is awesome.

It is just as much a school color as is cardinal.

That honestly looks horrible. The yellow "State" looks so so bad against a yellow background.

this is what the I-State logo looks like with a yellow background. It doesn't get much worse.

That's probably the best way to go. Difficulty of the standard I-State logo on gold helmet (as the one I posted above) is the "I" has gold trim, so it gets absorbed into the background. Then again, the cardinal trim on "State" gets swallowed on a cardinal helmet, so the logo only works truly well on white.

It's possible we could even keep the 2-tone bevel on the "I" with a stenciled cardinal "State."
