New Uniforms Revealed

Agree with you, I won't get hopes up for gold lid this year, at least (it'd be a pleasant surprise if it were secretly unveiled at some point). But gold pants seem like a must somewhere in the rotation, even if it isn't used a lot.

But we may want to look at what Toledo used when Campbell was there. I don't know if there was a gold pant in the mix or not ... seemed to go a lot w/ blue and white with just some trim. I'm sure some of you will have a better grasp of it than I do.

I do not know which pictures are from the Campbell tenure, but Toledo looks like a WVU knock off to me that definitely uses at least some gold elements...

True every fanbase talks unies. But ISU fans are seriously over-the-top on the subject. I've never seen it quite like here and not sure why that's the case? And it goes for both major sports. Maybe because it seems they're always in flux, thus they generate an inordinate amount of chatter? o_O

Likely because we've had such crappy uniforms in the past, fans are excited to see the good changes.

Two things I observed today:
1. I dislike pants being a lighter shade than the jersey. Red or black jerseys with yellow or white pants just looks weird to me.
2. I'm so sick of talking about uniforms.

I'll take a crack at the unis this year. I might not get any of them right but I enjoyed doing them. I think amestoplease should get much of the credit for the redesigned Cyclone/OrrCyclone, as he worked on it first a few years back. red Cyclone amestoplease.png The one I'm using is here, w/ just a slight 'easing' of the two lateral points. Red Cyclone trimed edges 3 .png I like them both, either one.
 
Here's a collage of what we have this year. I took the liberty to put the OrrCyclone in there (because I'd like to see it some time in the near future). I used facemask color combinations that I like and think would work well. It remains to be seen how they will rotate the facemasks or if they will at all.

Oh man, I'm getting nervous for you. I hope you go 1/1. I assume they will do videos during the week like last year.

They came out on Thursdays, I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong.
