The lack of any gold elements is disappointing.

I think you'll see them swap the cardinal and black facemasks at some point. Along with player accessories like arm bands and gloves, the color combos will get mixed a bit. That black collar will make more sense with a black facemask and pants. I think it's stupid, but I see where they're going with it. The black helmet could be pretty cool with the chrome red facemask.

But the blacks have no white or red/gold and the reds have no white. So it's not really that easy to mix/match.

My biggest problem last year was the lack of color-swapping on the uniforms and aside form the black collar they didn't improve on that at all.

The jerseys are great and especially the white helmets look great. Red is pretty nice.. I don't like the black ones as much as I thought I would. Seems like they are missing something. I wonder what it would look like with some red in there?

Yep the blacks need some red trim for sure.

the reds are flat out ugly. The other two look great.

This is where I'm at. I think it's the darker red outline and shoulder stripe that just doesn't work.

Jamie finding out that there are 2 groups of people that can’t handle the black: 1) insecure ISU fans...there are a lot, and 2) Hawkeye fans. Hilarious for both of the groups to me!
