New Uniforms Revealed

If we beat TCU, I predict 1 more game with the Trice unis. I'm guessing Kansas.

The only other home game is TX. I'll pick black again for them.

I dont think so. I think these are to be used as a one off special, honoring Jack, and then retired.

But I may be wrong.

That makes sense, yes. Get their (some anyway) money back.

I'm still going to say 2 games. Wouldn't be the first time I was wrong. :)

The only reason we might go with the cardinal Helmets and c/w/c, would be my 2nd choice, is because they have the white lids all ready to go for TCU.

I think it's a one off thing and rightfully so. It defeats the purpose and minimizes the special uniform if we keep using it.

But I hope we incorporate aspects of that uniform into our default uniform.

I went out on a limb, saying they will use it twice. I don't really believe it either. Even if they wanted to, the one less home game this year makes it very unlikely.
 
OU matchup is a situation when I wish we had some kind of gold option - helmet and/or pants, to set it apart from cardinal vs crimson, for contrast.

For what we do have, W-W-W or W-W-C is fine. I know our record in all-white is bad, but ISU probably losing in any combo this weekend regardless.

We should go c/w/c. And if we were to lose, very likely, never to wear the c/w/c combo again.

That's about how sensible any of this 'don't wear this combo because we haven't won much with it' is.

Most people I think, will say it doesn't really matter. But the topic keeps coming up. I'm not putting that down at all. But there are people that are a bit superstitious, particularly with sports?
