We will be so much more athletic next year. I really expect this team to be very good by the time conference starts. I think Nov/early December this team will have some growing pains because there will be 2-3 new guys in the starting lineup.

:skeptical:After watching the NCAA tourney this weekend, I'm even more depressed about ISU BB. Bill Parcell's said, "you are what you're record says you are". In my opinion, McDermott has done a poor job of putting together an NCAA talent type team. We are still a long ways away from the NCAA tourney.

If this is true, this is huge. I think the worm has turned as we are going to have more talent on the floor since 2000.

I think we're right on the cusp of something fantastic!!!

I'll russle up a PM list in a second here. We're enjoying the Amazing Race, so I've been moving slowly.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. Buckley has shown that he has a lot more "upside" than what DG has. DG has been solid and doesn't turn the ball over, but he just isn't a scorer. This team doesn't need a Jacy Halloway, we need a Jamal Tinsley. (please note, I'm not saying Buckley is the next Tinsley, but I think he can play more that style)

it could be two 4s and one 5 considering gilstrap is basically a 5 for espn

A PG doesn't need to be a scorer.
