We may have a new '09 commit. It's not official though, and The previous thread was deleted because the staff might not want the name public quite yet. If you know who it is, please don't post the name in public yet. It's a very good commit, and I'm sure you understand why the name isn't being released yet..

Jared - how will we make room? Does this necessarily mean somebody is leaving?

Ummmmmm....Why does it matter if anyone else knows? It's not like this is a pay site and no offense cyismydog, but this isn't anything confirmed outside of a facebook conversation.

It will be confirmed soon. Also, it has to do with others schools.

Nothing personal, but I hope you are not violating any recruiting rules in these contacts.

Basically any contact, in any form can be an issue.

Fair enough, but if he's already given his verbal, why would it matter to other schools? He wants to go to ISU, not anywhere else.

New starting 5 and second team
DG/Buckley
Christopherson/Colvin/EiK
Gilstrap/Staiger
New commit/Hamilton
Brackins/VDB

We will be so much more athletic next year. I really expect this team to be very good by the time conference starts. I think Nov/early December this team will have some growing pains because there will be 2-3 new guys in the starting lineup.

But the growing pains won't be on the scale of the Night of the Jackrabbit.

I will be disappointed if DG starts over Buckley. I wouldn't mind seeing some growing pains if it means having Buckley, Colvin, Gilstrap, and Brackins all in the starting lineup. They would at least be athletic enough to make game interesting.
