Wouldn't be surprised to see all four of these teams ranked worse in the CFP rankings than they are in the AP.

Oklahoma should demolish Okie State. Okie State is overrated. As is TCU. I wouldn't put either in the top 20. Oklahoma is as good as anybody right now.

You shouldn't be. Why is the AP poll so accurate all of a sudden? Only Oklahoma is about where they should be. The other 3 are overrated here.

They're 2, 5, 7, 8 in Sagarin. Big 12 been #1 wire to wire, so natural there's a 90% chance not represented in playoff for second straight year.

That cracked me up. So much so that I went back to look at our record by half. We are dead even at 10-10...and then obviously 0-1 in OT.

I wouldn't be surprised to see OU make the giant move up to 5 and bump Iowa down to 6. The committee doesn't use the previous week as a baseline (supposedly). They look at every week fresh. OU's win at Baylor was pretty salty.

I could see this as well. Ultimately, it doesn't matter at all, as we found out the last week of last season.

Exactly. Doing these rankings on a Tuesday on TV is just another $$$$ grab by ESPN. We're just dumb enough to watch it

Okie State is 10-0 for the same reason Iowa is 10-0. I hate to say this, but Iowa would beat Okie State and TCU. Look for Oklahoma to win out.

I'm willing to give Iowa a coin toss chance in those TCU/OK State hypotheticals and I feel that's being nice. When have they had to face a QB like Boykin or a WR group like Okie State? They would move the ball on those teams but those two teams would far and away be the best offenses on their schedule.

OK St and Iowa do have very similar resumes, Iowa's probably a little stronger because they've had less close calls with a similar SOS. OK State wins one or two more and they have the better looking resume though.
