Is this how bad boxing has gotten? Geez. No wonder nobody cares anymore.

The “Big Three” sports used to be boxing, baseball, and horse racing. Things change over time.
The good news is I believe Wilder and Fury recently agreed to a rematch next year.A guy coming out, making the most of his moment and knocking down the 'world champion' 4 times and getting a TKO? What the hell is wrong with that? Ruiz was fast, active and accurate. People focusing on his build/physique are clueless.
All that said, Wilder is clearly top of the mountain in the heavyweight division. I'd love to see another matchup with Fury.
maybe Butterbean can come out of retirement to challenge for the title.
You're right, a really good dude that was a big underdog defied the odds and knocked out a guy he shouldn't be able to.....boxing is terribleIs this how bad boxing has gotten? Geez. No wonder nobody cares anymore.
Correct. Wilder announced that his next 2 fights will be rematches of his 2 toughest fights, later this year against Luis Ortiz and early 2020 against Fury. The good news is I believe Wilder and Fury recently agreed to a rematch next year.
During the barrage Ruiz pummeled him with in the 7th, Joshua looks over at the ref like, "c'mon man, I'm tired of this".I don't think Joshua ever recovered from the first shot in the 3rd. He looked drunk the rest of the fight.
For being as chunky as he is that guys hand speed is insane.
What if I'm none of those?Being fast is better than looking fast.
Being strong is better than looking strong.

Wilder is lucky the division is down right now. He is probably one of the weekest Heavyweight champs ever. He has good power and fights hard. He just don't have much boxing skill.
Ortiz would have won the first fight but gassed out. He was clearly up on the cards and putting on a boxing clinic against Wilder. He's pretty old now but if somehow he can get his cardio going he can easily beat Deontay.
