New Dishwasher Recommendations

I heard that Bosch was bought out and the quality has suffered since then. This was from a sales person at home depot so can't speak first hand but I would be interested to know what people think of them that have purchased within the last 2 years.
Pretty sure that's bogus. Also keep in mind that home improvement stores generally get cheaper models, just like John Deere and others do.

Mine was purchased around 2 years ago and super happy with it. I bought it from Lowes. It was in the middle of it being hard to get appliances so happy to get one. The tines can be a little tight, but some flip down to allow more room (in between tines too. Agree with one poster that the 3rd rack for silverware, etc is a game changer. I use Jet Dry and the only issue I have with drying is on deep parts of plastic or mugs where water collects but it is hard to dry that with anything.

Follow-up question from the wife: any particular concern or considerations with repair parts and technician availability with any of these recommended brands / models? (Specific to Central Iowa)

I know with the Korean appliance brands that it has been a problem for some.

We bought a Frigidaire Gallery from NFM to match our fridge in the winter and we like it. The 3rd rack is a must if you have any kids still on bottles.

Based on my experience not all appliance repair companies support Bosch. The “Mom and Pops” retailer I bought DW, Fridge & W/D from does support Bosch DW repair.
