Hawkeye and Cyclone Nation need to unite over this and absolutely flood Barta and Pollard with emails.

Its not Barta, or Pollards doings, no sense in flooding their inboxes. Target is Iowa Corn. Im sure Barta and Pollard think its a joke as well.

Crap. I'm already getting malicious texts from the Ags down here since Ubben picked it up. I'm starting to think that Iowa Corn wanted to end this series and found the way to do it.
Forget petitions... There needs to be a protest outside of their offices in Johnston.
At first I thought this was funny. Now, the more I look at it, I am bordering on being offended. And I have never been offended, by anything, but this trophy...it is offending me.
I hope Murph and Andy talk about this today... 9 minutes and I hope they are just as ****** as everyone else!
Ugliest trophy I've ever seen. I didn't like the idea of changing the trophy to begin with, but this is really an insult to what was an awesome tradition.
I vote for the Grant Woods Iowa farmers trophy with 3 corn cobs atop the pitchfork.
How about a football morphing into a corn cob? Brown to gold and all of that. You could add the slogan "Bringing Frankenfoods to life."

I took five minutes to come up with an idea, draw this up in Paint, and save it to Photobucket. And I think it looks better than that. Hell, print this crude drawing out and tape it over the concrete, (I'm sure it's not concrete, but it sure looks like it), sculpture and it instantly looks better.
If you can't tell, it's a full size football that transforms into an ear of corn.
I actually cried a little. It felt like someone was making a personal attack against me. I wish someone would just make this stop.
I like the simple idea of having the likeness of Jack Trice on one side and Nile Kinnick on the other with some kind of corn related item between them (ear of corn, combine, plow, etc... Now that would kick ***.
