Serious question, then: You believe that you have a better understanding of ISU's future recruiting needs than does the four-man MBB staff at Iowa State, correct? Bottom line, you are saying that you know better than Mac, aren't you?

If you are saying this, so be it. I'll not say another word. I just would like to hear you say it, "Yes, I understand ISU's MBB future recruiting needs better than the Cyclone MBB staff understands it."

Is this not what you are saying?

(I'm curious about where some fans are coming from, which is why I ask these questions. I do appreciate your patience with my asking them.)

I didn't realize that every person who wants to voice their opinion on basketball on a message board must be a Division One Basketball coach. Guess nobody should be allowed to voice their opinion on the gov't unless they have been President too?

If you have that big a problem with Cyclones fans voicing their own opinions about basketball than why are you reading and discussing the basketball program on a sports message board? Seriously?

CyValley, put down the thesaurus and take a deep breath. Two people having differing opinions does not mean that one is right and the other is wrong, therefore one knows more than the other. There's a difference between fact and opinion. And all of us are entitled to opinions based on as much or little knowledge as we have of a situation. There are a lot of citizens in this country that think Bush is doing a poor job. Does this mean they think they know more about what's going on behind the walls of the White House than Bush? No. It means based on the visible results of the man's actions we can form an opinion. Same goes for McD.

This is the correct answer.

While I will always be hopeful and love ISU basketball.... it's going to be a really long time before I get super excited for the season to start.

He is better, from what I've heard. Staff is still going after Jemal, but since we signed a wing, Jemal isn't as interested.
