Never as bad as it seems.

I think I would rather getting punched in the mouth by a non conference opponent RIVAL game that is ranked in the top ten than anyone else. I mean this doesn't mean anything for our bowl chances, we got dominated by a team that is supposed to dominate us(according to the national media.)

Our defense was ******* horrible, and eventually our whole team went to **** today.

I'll wait to see how we respond next week before coming to conclusions about this team.

We were never in it. They lined up and ran us over, mismatches everywhere. That being said it only counts as a single loss. Very disappointed in our lack of competitiveness.

This looked much worse than last year. It was like a steady rainy drizzle. Two of our players looked decent when compared to the other side. We had no plays except run backs. Anyone that was on a watch list has just been crossed off.

I'm pretty optimistic for the most part....but it is getting hard to remain optimistic after that. Oh well, they just have to take it one game at a time.

Seems to me that in the first half we played overly conservative offense and then when we opened it up a bit AA had a repeat of last year. I don't see why we didn't start Tiller.... Next week: AA. Against Iowa: anyone else.

KU from week 1 to week 2 would be good evidence of that. Today was miserable, but so was the Iowa game last year and we still won 7 games. We won't play many (maybe any) teams better than Iowa this year.

Except maybe Nebraska, Texas, and Oklahoma of course.

I went golfing after the first half, now the lady and myself are gonna go grab burritos and a redbox. The season is far from over...

Okay, I'll say it...

I'm taking this one in stride and counting on us to rebound from it even better than last year. At least we finally beat the touchdown scoring jinx we had against Iowa.

And... I'll be rooting for Iowa to be national champs this year. After all, it will put this defeat even more in perspective and hey, it's our state I'm cheering for (living in Texas I have to root for all things state of Iowa).

the best we can hope for is that it ends up being a wakeup call for everyone and that the team learns a lot from the game and is able to move on to next week and get back over the hump
