A lot of good ones mentioned so far
For any star trek fans, i recommend Gates McFadden's (aka Beverly Crusher) podcast. She has a whole series interviewing a bunch of actors within the star trek realm. Not much actual trek talk, but more getting into the actors backgrounds, their acting, etc. Some really good stories.

One of my favorites is Malcolm Gladwell's Revisionist History. Another good one on Pushkin (Gladwell's network) is Cautionary Tales.
I also like the Office Ladies, How I Built This, and The Sporkful.
Another fun one is The Soundtrack show. A little sporadically released, but has deep dives on the music of ET, Zelda, Mario Bros, Indiana Jones, etc.

Yeah I didn't know he like stole a bunch of bluegrass music and tried to be a musician
I haven't heard The Dollop's episode but the Behind the Bastards episodes on Steven Segal are crazy.
But it did introduce me to his reggae album and his wonderful single,
Listened to a couple episodes of The Original Gangsters today and I dig it. The interview with Mooch from the Mongols was pretty good. From what I gather, one of the hosts is an investigative journalist that covers organized crime and the other is a professor that teaches organized crime. They really know what they’re talking about and actually seem to have a lot of connections to the organizations they cover.
Anyone have a good suggestion for a podcast that deep dives into cults? I tried behind the bastards and something about the guys doing it annoyed me.

You are correct. There are several collabs between the two pods I mentioned that are really good.Chris wrote the book Mafia Prince which is an excellent read.

Lately I find the free Tubi app has more of these "rewatchable" movies than all the other streaming services combined. It's basically lots of rewatchable 70s/80s/90s movies and anime lol.
Has commercials but they aren't that bad and it lets you skip ahead without forcing a commercial every time.
I was on a podcast over the weekend. We talked a little Iowa State and WVU. I was incredibly nervous going in as this is not my comfort zone but if anyone wants to listen it’s called 4Lee. First 30 minutes is the Iowa state talk. If you take issue with anything I said you can let me know but as stated podcasting is not my forte.

The Ringer is the name of the network, headed by Bill Simmons. Most of their podcasts have The Ringer in the title, such as the ringer-verse. But you may just want to search for the Bill Simmons podcast and then click the link to the Ringer from there.
If you go to https://www.theringer.com/ and hover over "Podcasts" at the top, you'll see all of their podcasts. If I find one I like, I search my podcast app to see if they carry it.
For history pods that haven't been mentioned yet: The History of Rome, and Revolutions. Both are by Mike Duncan. History of Rome is a little rough early on, but it started in like 2007 and covers from the founding of ancient Rome to the fall of the Western Empire. Revolutions goes through some of the major political revolutions that took place in Europe and the Americas from the 17th through early 20th centuries.

I listen to quite a few Ringer podcasts, some of my favorites:
1) Binge Mode - this is an older podcast that isn't releasing new episodes but if you like Harry Potter or Game of Thrones, really a must listen. They also did a season on Star Wars and Marvel as well.
2) Plain English - podcast covering a wide variety of topics where the host starts with a monologue explaining the topic for the episode and then he'll bring on a guest to break down the different sides of the issue.
3) The Town - A Hollywood business podcast. You want to know what's causing the media stock decline or how the writers strike is going, this podcast is for you
4) The Rewatchables - as previously mentioned, basically a complete breakdown of "rewatchable" movies.
5) The Big Picture - podcast about movies. I find their takes on movies to be fair. Sometimes I find movie critics can be overly dismissal of blockbusters but not the case here. Like all Ringer podcasts, about once a month they'll have a draft episode where they'll invite a guest (usually Chris Ryan) and they'll draft the best movies from a specific year or career.
6) The Press Box - this one is a bit topic dependent for me but the premise is they cover how the media is discussing the topic of the week.
7) Dave Chang Show/Recipe Club - Also topic dependent for me but even though I'm not all that interested in the art of cooking, Chang is hilarious and he's got a good report with his cohost.
You'll notice I didn't list any of the sports podcasts. I find them all to be just ok. The Fantasy Football Show is probably the best of the bunch but to be honest the fantasy advice is meh. Funny group of guys though. I prefer the Athletic for my pro/college coverage (Athletic Football Show/Andy Staples Show)
